Blackbird Tavern is owned by Ed Mitzen, founding partner of Business for Good, an organization with a mission of building better businesses, stronger communities, and a more equitable world. They partner with other organizations to fund and fight community emergencies like food insecurity, housing instability and education gaps. They operate businesses with an intention of stabilizing the community by returning profits to local causes. Blackbird Tavern is proud to be part of the Business For Good network - when you support us, you are supporting the Voorheesville community in more ways than one! 

Druthers Brewing Co., operating partner of Blackbird Tavern, is a brewpub and craft brewery with four locations across the capital region of New York. They also operate several independent restaurants, such as Lago by Druthers and now Blackbird Tavern by Druthers. Started in Saratoga Springs, Druthers focuses on comfort foods and hearty classics with memorable twists. At Druthers, the menus are carefully workshopped and curated several times a year, and everything possible is made by hand, from scratch - because food should be something you enjoy, and they enjoy making sure you do!
